Do not believe the lie

Author: Daily Times

Sir: No one should listen to government authorities any more as all they do is lie to us. We are told again and again that we are in safe hands and that public/government hospitals are safe and reliable. That is an absolute hoax, a trickery with the entire nation. I recently went to meet someone I know who is being treated at a government hospital and I was appalled to see the shabby state of everything there. Not only were there not enough beds for the many patients who were admitted there, machinery and life saving equipment were also woefully short. I also saw many stray cats in the operating theatre.
Is this the kind of treatment and healthcare government officials expect when they go abroad to get treated for medical conditions? I doubt it. We are fodder for their lies. The least we can do is stop believing them.
