Balochi dictionary

Author: Daily Times

Sir: A second dictionary in Balochi language was launched on August 2, 2015 in Quetta. The dictionary had taken a period of 15 years to be completed and it contains 33,000 words. However, it is a great achievement for the Balochi Academy and an appreciable gift for the people of Balochistan. Now Baloch students do not need to remain dependent on dictionaries in other languages. In fact, it is the first step towards the development of Balochistan. Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch is himself a literary person, therefore he should help Baloch scholars in publishing more dictionaries.
