Pakistan condemns terrorist attack in Bangkok

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a popular shrine in central Bangkok, which resulted in the loss of precious lives.

“The people and the government of Pakistan share the pain and anguish of the people and the government of Thailand over the terrorist attack. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pray for speedy recovery of the injured,” Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah said in a statement.

He said that terrorism was the common enemy of mankind, adding that Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
