As part of its ongoing flood relief campaign, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has dispatched relief goods for flood affected people of Dera Bugti in Balochistan.
It is pertinent to mention that apart from establishing tent cities for flood affected people of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sui Northern Gas is carrying out massive relief activities.
A truck carrying relief goods for Dera Bugti flood affected people left from SNGPL Multan Compression on Monday. The relief goods included 20 tents, 120 packs of medicines, 100 food packs and 100 cans of water. Soon after the news of destruction from flood emerged, Managing Director SNGPL Ali J. Hamdani had issued immediate directives to ensure best possible assistance to the flood affected people.
Until now, the company has established two tent villages in Taunsa and Dera Ghazi Khan to provide shelter to the victim families. In addition to this, a total of 100 tents were distributed in the flood affected area of Rajanpur. SNGPL has also been distributing meals at various relief camps in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
