Sir: The assassination of Punjab Home Minister Colonel (retd) Shuja Khanzada by unknown terrorists once again brought the menace of terrorism into the limelight. The responsibility for the attack has been claimed by militant outfit Lashkara-e-Islam as the Punjab government had launched a search operation against the group. Speculations are rife that the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi is involved in the attack because the group’s leader Malik Ishaq was killed by the Punjab police two weeks ago.
