Solar project of 100MW completed in record time: Shahbaz

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that solar project of 100 Mega Watt in Quaid-e-Azam solar park in Bahawalpur has been completed in record time.

He expressed these views while talking to a Chinese energy company’s delegation. He said that at least 100MW electricity has been added to the national grid through the solar project. The chief minister said that a plan has been chalked out to produce 3,600MW electricity from gas in Punjab.

He said that progress in energy projects to counter crisis was ongoing with pace. The meeting discussed establishment of different electricity projects including those that use gas.
