Landikotal APS holds elocution competition

KHYBER AGENCY: The Annual elocution competition of Army Public School (APS) was held in Jirga hall of Tehsil Landikotal on Wednesday.

Station Commander Lieutenant Col Akhtar Ali Zaidi was chief guest. Assistant Political Agent Niaz Muhammad, tehsildar, forces officials, tribal elders, teachers, students and parentsalso attended the event.

Students wearing multi-coloured dresses presented tableaus, national songs, dances and drama sketches to thunderous applaud from the audience.

Addressing the occasion, the chief guest Lt. Col Aktar Ali Zaidi said that students of APS & College Landi Kotal had competence and talent and the institution was not lagging behind other schools in the country in spreading quality education.

He appreciated the abilities of the students and affirmed that the self confidence of the students will not only assist them in becoming successful citizens of the country, but will also persuade them to earn a good name for their area.

Col Akhtar Ali Zaidi urged the parents join hands with administration of APS & College to make the institution the leading school of the country.

He congratulated the teaching staff of APS for imparting the best education to the tribal students.

Prior to this, APSPrincipal Shah Fayaz presented the yearly report and future plans of the educational institution.

At the end, cash prizes and trophies were granted to the shining students.
