KHYBER AGENCY: At least four Taliban workers, including commander Habib, were killed in a drone strike in Lalpura near Pak-Afghan border on Sunday.

The attack targeted a double cabin car and killed key Taliban commander Habib and his three accomplices. According to reports, the deceased suspects were from Imarat Islami Afghan Taliban. The CIA spy agency regularly uses drones for airstrikes and spying missions in Afghanistan as well as Pakistan’s northwestern tribal belt near the Afghan border, among other places. Washington has been conducting targeted killings through the remotely-controlled armed drones in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen.

Meanwhile, at least 15 terrorists were killed following an airstrike in North Waziristan’s Shawal region. According to security sources, jet fighters pounded terrorist hideouts in Shawal’s Gurbuz and Zoya areas in which at least 15 militants were killed. It should be noted that the armed forces of Pakistan launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-I after a series of terrorist attacks in the country, which included attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School in which 150 people, most of them children, were killed. More than 1,000 terrorists have been killed in the military operations in the tribal belt.
