KARACHI – Sindh cabinet once again is likely to undergo major reshuffle with a change in the portfolios of some of its ministers.
Reportedly it has been decided to take the information ministry back from Nisar Khuhro, whereas Maula Bakhsh Chandio is expected to become adviser to the chief minister. Khuhro is currently holding two ministries which include information and irrigation.
In this regard, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah along with other party leaders will reach Karachi from Dubai after which final decision will be made. Minister for Local Bodies Nasir Hussain Shah has succeeded in attaining new ministry and is likely to be appointed as food minister which was earlier in the charge of Manzoor Wasan.
Sindh cabinet has also seen such shake-ups before, altering its ministers from one post to another and sometimes entirely removing them from their position. Besides this, new ministers are also inducted thus expanding the cabinet as a whole.
