RAWALPINDI: National Accountability Court (NAC) on Thursday postponed hearing of the asset reference case against former president Asif Ali Zardari until December 2. Investigation officer of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Qamar Shahzad appeared before the court of NAC Judge Khalid Mehmood Ranjha, for recording his statement in the asset reference case. The prosecution witnessed that Ahmed Jawad Mirza did not appear before the court for recording his statement. The judge ordered to ensure presence of the prosecution witness on the next date of hearing. The court postponed the proceedings of the reference filed against co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, till next date.
