Displaced families get food packages

KHYBER AGENCY: The Federally Administered Tribal Areas(FATA) Disaster Management Authority,with the assistance of Islamic Relief Pakistan, distributed food packages among 400 displaced families of LoyShelman, Tehsil Landikotal on Thursday.

Following shelling from Afghanistan,the administration had asked the residents of Samsay and Sheen Pokh areas to shift to safer places. The package comprised of ghee, rice, flour, dates, beverages, beans, tea leaves, and sugar. The Landikotal tehsiladar said that in the future other commodities,including tents, utensils, and blankets would be provided.
