Mother of three shot dead over honour

KASHMORE: A mother of three was shot dead reportedly by her brother over an allegation of honour killing at Katcha area of Haji Khan Shar Police Station, in Kashmore on Thursday.

SHO Haji Khan Shar Police Station, Mehboob Ali Kalhoro confirmed the killing and said that a woman,identified as Ms Gul Khatoon of caste Kosh, was killed over a pretext of Karo-Kari. Her body was handed over to her relatives after conducting a post-mortem examination from Kashmore Hospital and a police investigation is underway. On the other hand, the mother of the deceased woman, namely Ms Chatto recorded their protest in front of local journalists.

She claims her son, Gul Hassan Kosh, was not involved in murdering his sister and accused Ayub and Najo Kosh of being involved in killing her daughter. The men she accuses are the cousins of the deceased’s husband. An FIR was not registered as of the filing of this story.
