Domestic abuse

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Recently in two different incidents the stories of abuse of minor domestic servants was observed and reported in the newspapers all across the country. Was it not enough to jolt the conscience of the influential class? Two women MPAs of PM L (N) are involved in this domestic abuse. The FIRs have been registered against the accused persons.

First of all employing minor children is an offence under the Criminal Laws of the Country. The question is what the Child protection Agency was doing and will it take any action against the persons involved in this crime. This is not the first time that any such abuse has been reported. It has become a fashion with the rich class to act in such a manner.

I would also question the parents where is their responsibility to secure and protect their children? Have they delegated their responsibility to such callous brutes? We condemn these ruthless and coward persons. Their inhuman treatment cannot be tolerated and accepted under any circumstances. The must be investigated and prosecuted immediately.

It is a black stain on the face of our society. Abusing minor children must be stooped at all costs. We must not turn a blind eye to such abusive behavior and try to stop it, instead of remaining silent spectators.
