OBOR help to develop backward areas: Masood

Author: Online

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu Kashmir President Masood Khan has said that the Chinese initiative of One Belt One Road (OBOR) will help develop backward areas and bring them into the national mainstream.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Friday, he said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is an important component of the One Belt One Road initiative.

The AJK president rejected Indian objections to the CPEC saying New Delhi is disturbed over the prosperity that the project will bring to the areas of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
