Six FC men martyred in Quetta blast

QUETTA: Six personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) were martyred and one was injured in a blast near FC’s Margat Checkpoint in the Balochistan capital on Monday. According to the FC spokesman, an improvised explosive device planted near the checkpoint exploded when an FC convoy was passing through the area. As a result, FC personnel Awais Muhammad, Muhammad Qasim, Fareed, Muhammad Saleem and Mubashar Nadeem were killed at the scene and Aqeel and Ghulab were injured. The injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries. The martyrs were laid to rest amid tight security.
