UMT holds rector merit award ceremony

The University of Management and Technology (UMT) held the Rector Merit Award ceremony in Lahore at the UMT Johar Town campus.

In the ceremony, 383 students were awarded the Rector Merit Award 295 students of BS degree programs and 88 students of MS degree programs. The chief guest of the function was President Club Ejaz Nisar. Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza, Director General UMT Abid Sherwani, Controller examinations Haseeb Haider, of Deans, Directors and HoDs attended the function. Award-winning students and their parents were also present at the ceremony.

Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza addressed the ceremony and said that UMT gives scholarships worth millions of rupees to students every year in the form of Rector Merit Award. Dr Asif said that students should work hard and make the name of their parents, institution and country of Pakistan bright as Pakistan has a need for such talent. The university provides facilities to gifted students in all respects. UMT wants to see the students as a successful person, so opportunities abound, just keep working, said Rector UMT.

Chief Guest of the ceremony CEO Club President Ejaz Nisar encouraged the students not to stop dreaming for success. He advised students to work hard and keep on marching towards their goals without bothering the people around them. UMT has given you opportunity, work hard and be the arm of parents, Ijaz Nisar. Certificates & Awads was distributed among the award winning students by Chief Guest, Rector and DG UMT.
