World pours scorn on attackers

ISLAMABAD: United Sates Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale strongly condemned the attack on Bacha Khan University, Charsadda in which more than twenty persons including female students were martyred and many others injured. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon also condemned terrorist attack by armed militants on university, and called for bringing the perpetrators to justice. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made telephonic contact with Nawaz Sharif and conveyed his grief and sorrow over the terror attack. In his message, Japanese PM Shinzo Abe strongly condemned attack on Bacha Khan University. Similarly, ambassadors of Italy and England also denounced Wednesday’s attack on the Bacha Khan University. “My thoughts and prayers are with students, faculty and all those affected,” tweeted British High Commissioner Philip Barton.
