Khalid reveals Altaf, Anwar are Indian, British agents

KARACHI – Imran Farooq murder accused Khalid Shamim revealed – in front of the media – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and Muhammad Anwar are British and Indian agents, a private TV channel reported.

Khalid Shamim revealed that these details as he left court on Thursday. He told reporters that the British intelligence agency MI6 and India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) are supporting these leaders. To a question regarding becoming an approver in the case – the accused asserted that he is ready if the nation supports him.

Khalid Shamim’s wife told media that her husband’s condition is not fine. On this occasion, the suspect insisted that he is fine, adding that he want to take the matter to international court.

Earlier, Mohsin Ali has confessed that he murdered Imran Farooq along with Kashif. The Anti-Terrorism Wing of the FIA produced Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali, the two of the three suspects in the case – in court of Islamabad Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Sattar Essani while the third accused Moazzam Ali refused to record confessional statement.
