LAHORE – The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has acquitted three suspects of Kasur child abuse scandal on friday on the basis of lack of evidence.
The council of three suspects namely Ashfaq, Ibrahim and Arshad told the court that the public witnesses have retracted from their statements and the police report has also declared the accused as innocent.
The court reviewed the whole record and has ordered to release the three accused on the basis of lack of evidence. Earlier the police declared three suspects including main accused of the Kasur video scandal, innocent. Police submitted the final challan of four FIRs on 11th January.
According to the details, police submitted final challan of four FIRs of Kasur scandal in the special Anti-Terrorism Court. In the challan police had mentioned that the main suspects are not guilty of rape or extortion. The challan said that the suspects only proved to be threatening people.
