Six outlaws,18 beggars held

ISLAMABAD: Capital city police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered hashish, fake stamps and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to reports, Karachi Company police arrested Waqas Abbasi and recovered 1050 gramme hashish from him. Ramana police recovered fake official letter pads and stamps from Wazeer Abbas.

Industrial area police arrested Zahid Hussain and recovered one 12-bore rifle along with ammunition from him. Khanna police arrested two persons Mubashir Zia and Basma Bibi for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, 18 professional alm-seekers were also arrested and action has been initiated against them.
