Dense fog disrupts air traffic in Islamabad, Peshawar

ISLAMABAD – Dense fog blanketed Islamabad and Peshawar causing air and road traffic disruption.

The flight operations at Benazir Bhutto International Airport and Bacha Khan International Airport have been suspended due to dense fog. The flight inquiry spokesman said at least 36 flights have been delayed while eight flights have been suspended.

He directed passengers to take information from flight inquiry office before leaving to the airport .The dense fog in Islamabad also disrupted road traffic and visibility was recorded very low. The MET department has forecast dense fog with biting cold in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for next three days.
