FBR prepares case against model Ayyan Ali on non-payment of tax

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has prepared a case against model Ayyan Ali on account of non-payment of tax in respect of her luxury flat located in Karachi.

sources told on Monday that Mustafa Memon, a businessman from Karachi, has transferred ownership of the luxury flat worth over Rs 50 million to the model, but she has failed to deposit tax in proportion to the cost of the flat.

The FBR sources said that even if Memon has gifted the flat to Ali, tax was required to be paid. Therefore, investigation into the matter is under way, the sources said.
