LAHORE – Kashmir Day is being observed in Punjab University (PU) to express solidarity with people of Indian-held Jammu Kashmir today (Friday).
A seminar held at the Punjab University to show solidarity with Kashmiris people. The speakers express their solidarity with the Kashmiris in their freedom struggle and urged both the countries for the resolution of the issue in the light of United Nations resolutions.
On this occasion, the speakers PU Vice chancellor Dr Mujahid kamran, former chief justice of Pakistan Sheikh Riaz Ahmad, former Lahore Bar Council president Ahmad Awais, General R Farooq Ahmad Khan were included.
They noted that it was the obligation of the world to get implemented the UN resolutions on Kashmir without further loss of time to ensure early grant of the birth right to Kashmiris.
