Sir: The life of a human being is precious but, in Pakistan, there is novalue for human life. Humans are killed here like rabid dogsare killed. Two people were killed and at least three others injured on Tuesday after law enforcement personnel allegedly opened fireonthe employees of Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA’s) near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, who were protesting against the privatisation of the national flag carrier. All law enforcement personnel, including Rangers, have openly denied killing the protesters. So, if they did not kill them then who did? It is the same old story once again: justice for the lives of ordinary Pakistanis just does not amount to anything.
