‘Devta’ author Mohiuddin Nawab passes away

KARACHI – Renowned novelist Mohiuddin Nawab has passed away in Karachi, local media reported on Saturday.

Devta – one of Nawab’s most famous Urdu novels – is the longest Urdu novel published in over 25 years.

Funeral prayer of the deceased was offered at Ayesha Masjid – Gulshan-e-Ghazali (Near Millat Town, Azeem Pura) – Shah Faisal Colony area of Karachi.
