First milk-testing laboratory van starts in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A dream for Peshawar locals to consume hygienic milk was realised as the first ever milk-testing laboratory van established by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government to counter the grave problem of adulteration in milk in Peshawar is kicked off.

Peshawar Deputy Commission Saqib Raza Aslam accompanied by District Livestock Syed Masoom Shah, Assistant Commissioner Peshawar Muhammad Mughis Sannaullah, Additional Assistant Commissioner Bashir Ahmed and Qaiser Khan including others inaugurated much awaited milk-testing laboratory van on Saturday at his office.

The deputy commission applauded the services of the district livestock as owing to him milk-testing laboratory van has been functional. The laboratory was stated to be one of modern milk testing laboratory of the country.
