Author: APP

MUZAFFARABAD – Two bombs on Saturday recovered from a private school in Bagh and defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).

Bagh Superintendent Police (SP) Kamran Mughal told APP that one bomb was planted in a classroom while other was in staff room, which were defused by the BDS called from Rawalakot.

The SP said though the school administration had some rivalry at local level but the bombs carried insignia of TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan). The police were investigating the incident from both aspects, he said.

He said the school having enrolment of over 1,200 male and female students had a security threat. It is pertinent to mention here that a chit with the words “TTP” and “Jhalak” was pasted on the bombs.
