Sir: The provincial government of Sindh has failed to bring any positive change in the education sector. Reportedly, a total of 940 untrained teachers were illegally appointed in the districts of Larkana and Kambar Shahdad Kot. Besides Larkana, funds were illegally utilised in the name of seven ghost primary schools that were not constructed at all. Due to the education crisis in different areas of the province, illiteracy has increased at an alarming rate.
Despite the fact that the Sindh government allocated Rs 33 billion for the improvement of Larkana district in the budget, no positive change has been witnessed. The provincial government needs to focus on the education for bringing prosperity in the country.
