LAUSANNE: The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Friday upheld CSKA Moscow midfielder Roman Eremenko’s two-year drug ban, imposed after he tested positive for cocaine following a Champions League game last year. The 30-year-old Finnish international can return on October 5, 2018, the Lausanne-based CAS said in a statement, affirming an earlier ruling by UEFA. Eremenko was found to have cocaine in his system in a test following a September 14, 2016 match against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.
