Former PM dares Punjab govt to face NAB

Author: Agencies

GUJRANWALA – Former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Raja Pervez Ashraf has dared the Punjab government to face National Accountability Bureau (NAB) if they are clean of corruption.

The former prime minister said that PPP fully cooperated with the NAB and Rangers in Sindh. “If accountability can take place in Sindh then Punjab should also bravely welcome it”, he said.

He said that his party did not raise any criticisms when former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani was being investigated by the probe agency.

“Everyone should be held accountable”, he said. “Why those people claiming themselves to be free of corruption are having problems over facing the accountability bureau”, he asked.
