ISLAMABAD – An additional and session’s court on Saturday rejected former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf’s plea seeking permanent exemption from appearing in Abdul Rashid Ghazi murder case, private TV channel reported.
Additional judge Parvez Qadir Memon announced that the verdict and issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Musharraf. The former ruler had filed a petition with the court – seeking permanent exemption from appearing in the case.
The court had reserved its verdict on February 13 after conclusion of arguments on the petition.
