Hammad Azhar moves LHC against CM Hamza, IG Punjab

Hammad Azhar, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), filed a contempt of court petition against Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz and Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab on Wednesday in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

In his petition, Hammad Azhar claims that lawmakers are harassed and arrested and that the government is infringing on people’s fundamental rights.

The PTI leader has asked the court to order the CM and IG of Punjab to face contempt of court charges.
