SHIKARPUR: An anti-corruption team, in the presence of the 4th Civil Judge Shikarpur Naveed Ahmed Suhto, on Saturday caught an accountant of Taluka Municipal Committee (TMC) Lakhi Ghulam Shah while receiving bribe.
According to Abdul Wahab Buriro, the Circle Officer Shikarpur, Muhammad Owais Hingoro, an employee of TMC as well, lodged a complaint against Municipal Committee Chairman Lakhi Ghulam Shah Nizamuddin Memon that he was demanding half the employees’ salaries for himself in order to release the withheld monthly salaries.
While Hingoro called the MC chairman to take amount of half salaries, Nizamuddin Memon did not come himself and he sent his accountant named Hanif Abro for collecting money from Hingoro and the accountant was caught red-handed in the presence of Civil Judge Shikarpur, by the anti-corruption team.
