RAWALPINDI – The Rawalpindi Customs Court on Thursday granted a one-day exemption to model Ayyan Ali from appearing in the court in the currency smuggling case.
When Customs Court Judge Aftab Ahmad Khan took up the case for hearing, Ayyan’s counsel Nasir Abbas filed an application seeking one day exemption for his client from the court appearnce. He took the plea that his client was unwell, therefore, she will be granted one-day exemption.
The court sought medical report of Ayyan and accepted her plea for one-day exemption. The court adjourned the hearing till March 17 with a directive that Ayyan should be produced in next hearing.
