PCB’s Dr Sohail joins ICC medical advisory committee

LAHORE: Dr. Sohail Saleem, head medical and sports sciences at National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore, has been appointed a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) medical advisory committee. “As per the terms of reference of the committee (also approved by the ICC chief executives’ committee), the committee comprises of three independent committee members and one representative of member boards which was elected through an election carried on May 31, 2017. Eight of the ten full members participated in the voting process and the candidate that received the highest number of votes was Dr Sohail Saleem,” said a PCB spokesman Friday.
