ISLAMABAD – National Assembly Speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has filed a petition in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan.

Ayaz filed reference in ECP over submitting alleged fake affidavits in NA-122 poll fraud case. According to details, the fake affidavits had said that around 2,000 votes were transferred from NA-122 without consultation of voters, it added.

According to details, if the allegations will prove against PTI leader then Aleem can face three to five-year imprisonment. Earlier, the ECP gave the access to Aleem to check the details of voters list but dismissed the plea in which Aleem demanded to declare the NA-122 election null and void.

It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N leader Ayaz stood victorious against Aleem in by-elections of NA-122.
