Three killed as two Jatoi sub-tribes clash

SHIKARPUR: At least three persons of Jatoi community were killed while seven others including women sustained bullet injuries at village Mizran Jatoi Katcha area of Khanpur tehsil, on the first day of Ramzan Sharif, over an ongoing deadly dispute developed between two groups of Saad Khanani Jatoi and Badani Jatoi, to share spy information with police, a few years back in the limits of Faizo Police Station and Rustam Police Station, some 50 kilometers from here, on Sunday morning.

According to SHO Faizo Police Station, Manthar Ali Shar that a deadly dispute erupted early in the morning between two groups of Badani Jatoi and Saad Khanani Jatoi groups, which resulting, three tribes men identified as Saeed Khanani Jatoi, and Ismail Khanani Jatoi, belonging to Saad Khanani Jatoi group and one another Noorul uddin Badani Jatoi were killed on the spot and seven others, whose identification could not be ascertained sustained grave bullet wounds in firing.

Area police rushed on the spot and cordoned off the area to maintain law and order situation and shifted the bodies and injured to Taluka Hospital Khanpur for autopsies and injured for medical treatment. After conducting postmortem examination bodies were handed over to their heirs and injured is admitted at Hospital, police added.

The deadly dispute, which started a few years back, claimed 15 lives of Jatoi tribesmen so far.
