KARACHI: As many as 17 more dengue fever cases were detected in Karachi city, taking the patients toll to 292 since 1st January 2017.
As per the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 18 new dengue fever cases surfaced in Sindh province from May 22 to May 28, out of which 17 were reported in Karachi and one from Hyderabad.
A total 304 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province so far, out of which 292 in Karachi, five in Hyderabad, five in Tharparkar or Mithi and two in Umer Kot.
In Karachi, out of the 17 dengue fever cases, four were reported from District South, six from District West, two from District East and five from District Malir, respectively.
