KARACHI – The Karachi police arrested on Tuesday at least six suspected people during search operation in Karachi’s Lines Area.

According to private TV channel, all detained people belong to a political party. The suspected people were apprehended hours after tension sparked when the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) office located in Lines Area was set on fire.

Police said that the operation was undertaken after two political parties clashed with each other yesterday while spearheading their respective electoral campaigns in PS115.
