Barred Zardari from meeting Nawaz: Aitzaz

Author: Agencies

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has called former president Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday and asked him to avoid any sort of meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Zardari has assured Aitzaz to do so.

Aitzaz has also announced the PPP’s alliance with the opposition parties against the government. During an un-official conversation with journalists he said that Nawaz has visited London to plead Zardari for support. He also said that Zardari agreed with him and announced not to meet the prime minister.

The senator predicted that Nawaz will be left alone in the coming days. However, PPP is not in the favour of staging sit-ins in front of the residence of any person, he said.
