Author: Online

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has called former president Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday and asked him to avoid any sort of meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Zardari has assured Aitzaz to do so. Aitzaz has also announced PPP’s alliance with the opposition parties against the government. During an un-official conversation with journalists, he said that Nawaz has visited London to plead Zardari for support. He said that Zardari agreed with him and announced not to meet the PM. The senator predicted that Nawaz Sharif would be left alone in the coming days. However, PPP is not in the favour of staging sit-ins in front of the residence of any person, he added.
