RCB moves against encroachments

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) officials on Thursday demolished an illegally constructed van stop in Shalley Valley area and confiscated taxis, Rikshas and Suzuki vans. According to RCB spokesman, the operation was launched on the directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Saima Shah. Five rickshas, three taxis and two Suzuki vans were confiscated during the operation. In another operation against encroachments, four truckloads of goods were confiscated from Chungi no 22, Tench Bhatta and Saddar area.
