Banks begin receiving Hajj applications

ISLAMABAD: The process of receiving Hajj applications in designated branches of banks from intending pilgrims is in progress. It will continue till 26th of this month. The balloting for successful pilgrims would be held on the 29th of this month. Over 1,43000 Pakistanis would perform Hajj this year. 60 percent pilgrims will perform Hajj under the government scheme while 40 percent through Hajj group organisers.
