ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif landed in Islamabad at 9:00pm on Tuesday after getting medical treatment in London.

Prime Minister Sharif stayed in London for six days, where specialist doctors and medical experts kept him under observation due to his heart problem.

During his stay in London, Sharif received medical treatment and consulted Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on the strategy to drag the PML-N out of the Panama leaks crisis.

PML-N insiders said the PM had decided after consultation with his interior minister to form a committee to counter the media on Panama leaks. The proposed committee would frame a policy to defend the Sharif family on different TV channels. Ministers or parliamentarians would be stopped from commenting on the issue. The legal and constitutional experts had told the prime minister that the interviews of his sons and careless statements of some ministers on the media worsened the situation. They advised the PM to stop all these elements from commenting on the Panama leaks.

The prime minister and his family members were upset about the Panama leaks and the statement of the army chief regarding corruption added to their woes.

The PM also showed his resentment with Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid’s reaction to army chief’s statement because the government was already in troubles and it could not afford a cold war the army.

The sources said that the prime minister during his stay in London completed the homework for in-house changes. The new strategy of the PML-N has the full backing of former President Asif Ali Zardari.

Analysts declared the recent tour of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to the US more important. The sources said that Khan went to the US to inform the super power about his new and important responsibilities.
