ISLAMABAD: Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Thursday urged the government to constitute a commission on Panama leaks headed by the chief justice of Pakistan and asked the opposition parties for a unanimous solution to the issue.
He was talking to media persons after a meeting with Federal Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) parliamentarians and Balochistan National Party Chief Awami Israrullah Zehri.
Aitzaz Ahsan said consultation among opposition parties will continue during days ahead and also hinted at possibility of a joint meeting of the opposition parties next week.
The PPP leader said international forensic audit company should investigate the Panama Papers revelation and report to the chief justice or parliamentary committee.
He said that Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the investigation of allegations levelled in Panama leaks will be prepared in consultation with all the opposition parties.
