KARACHI: At least 33 more dengue cases have emerged in the province in a week, taking the patients toll to 430 across Sindh since January 1.
According to a report issued by Sindh Dengue Prevention and Control Programme (DPCP), as many as 33 new dengue fever cases have been detected across Sindh province from April 15 to 21, out of which 28 are in provincial capital and one each from Tando Muhammad Khan, Sukkur, Khairpur, Naushero Feroz, and Mirpurkhas.
A total 430 dengue fever cases had been reported in Sindh province since this year, out of which 408 were detected from the metropolis, five from Hyderabad, three from Sukkur, two each from Tando Muhammad Khan,Mirpurkhas and Naushero Feroz , one each from Larkana, Khairpur, Jamshoro, Sanghar, Ghotki, Thatta, Shikarpur and Shaheed Benazirbad. No death was reported from dengue fever this year so far.
