Sir: During this pre-elections period, it is heartening to see steps being taken to filter the filth out of politics. Many of the politicians who have been known for holding fake degrees have been disqualified by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and are getting their just desserts for their lies. The latest to be brought to book is none other than Jamshed Dasti who has been handed a three-year jail term for having a fake degree. It is time these people are made to pay for their deception and lies. I, for one, am glad we are seeing the backs of these folk.
