PTI demands strict action against Nehal Hashmi

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Thursday said the PML-N’s action against Nehal Hashmi is a hilarious attempt to pull the wool over nation’s eyes.

Action under Section 6 of the Anti-Terrorism Act must be taken against Hashmi for intimidating and harassing officers performing their assigned tasks.

According to PTI Media Department the PTI leader Naeemul Haq has stated this. He said that House Sharif routinely brings into play its ‘pawns’ to intimidate different state institutions and then theatrically scapegoat those pawns.

He added that PML-N Senator Pervaiz Rasheed and former advisor to PM Tariq Fatmi were ‘sacrificed’ in Dawn Leaks case but even after being removed from the positions on serious charges; they are eulogised and invoked with endless benefits under the patronage of Nawaz Sharif.

He further said that the ruling party’s senator Mushahidullah Khan had also been temporarily dropped out of the sight after he spit venom against the Pakistan Army. The nation, Naeemul Haq said, strongly condemns the attempts to intimidate and denigrate state institutions by the prime minister and his henchmen, adding that the nurturing discord and strife among state institutions is indictable and the Supreme Court must bring the ‘show runners’ in the grip of law.
