ISLAMABAD – President Mamnoon Hussain has reaffirmed commitment for development of Balochistan to bring it at par with other provinces of the country.
Talking to Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai in Islamabad, he said completion of mega development projects particularly China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would usher in a new era of prosperity in the province.
He said the construction of Gwadar port and airport will create immense employment opportunities for the people of Balochistan and raise their standard of living.
The governor briefed the president about the overall situation in the province and apprised him about the measures being taken to restore peace and stability in the province.
