India’s Tiger ready to visit Pakistan, shows interest in Urdu film

LAHORE – Interacting live with Pakistani journalists from Mumbai, India’s film actor Tiger Shroff on Sunday said that he is ready to be a part of upcoming Urdu film in Pakistan.

A distribution club has arranged a video press conference in Lahore, in which Tiger Shroff and film director Sabbir Khan interacted live from India. Tiger’s new movie Baaghi is releasing in Pakistan and worldwide on April 29. He said that he would love to do a film in Pakistan and can give the fee cut also (to producers).

“Baaghi is an important film for me as I am playing a character of martial arts expert,” Tiger said, adding that he has to join a rigorous process of training (of martial arts) to perform the role. Sabbir said that he believe in entertaining cinema and the Baaghi was such a film which will attract a wide range of audience as it has music, emotions, romance and brilliant action sequence as well.

Beside Pakistani dramas, Pakistani films are also conquering Indians now, he said. To a question, he said that he has no suggestion for filmmakers here in Pakistan as they are doing very good at their own. He said that he raised issue of honour killing in his last movie Heropanti and in Baaghi he has worked on an old form of fighting which is mother of all fighting arts in India.

He said that Pakistani and Indian public have similar emotions, and life setting so it was sure that the new film will attract public from across the border. At the end, Tiger Shroff expressed his wish to visit Pakistan. For the promotion of his next movie Flying Jutt, he said that he will visit Pakistan and meet his fans. He also thanked to his fans in Pakistan for their love and affection.

Some fans also interacted with Tiger Shroff and one sang a song for him also. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiawala and directed by Sabbir Khan. Shradha Kapoor could not attend the press conference because of illness. She sends a message of love and affection for audience in Pakistan.
